How much does hampr cost?

Our hampr Loaded Membership is designed to help you catch up on your laundry mountain in just one day. For an affordable yearly fee of $39 (only $3.25 per month, paid annually), you can enjoy the convenience of our flat-rate pricing per load. Try it risk-free for 14 days with the flexibility to cancel anytime.
Unlike other laundry services that charge based on weight, hampr simplifies it—one 13-gallon kitchen bag equals 15lbs of laundry. Our flat-rate pricing is unbeatable, coming in at less than $1 per pound. To calculate your cost per load, visit our Pricing page and enter your address.
In addition to our wash/dry/fold (or hang service, if you provide hangers!), hampr Loaded offers complimentary pick-up and delivery, along with eco-friendly hamprs. Included in the service is scent-free/dye-free detergent with an option of a scented upgrade.
Our standard turnaround is 24 hours or less. Need it faster, no worries. We offer Same Day in select markets for a small upcharge.

How much clothing fits in a hampr?

1 eco-friendly hampr bag measurement/size is 20.5”x13.5”x13.5”.

1 hampr (or a 13 gal. kitchen bag) = 15lbs of laundry. We recommend leaving some space at the top — overstuffing can prevent your clothes from being cleaned well.

If it’s too much for your personal washer and dryer, it will be too much for our washrs’ equipment. Ex. Bedding comforters would not qualify.

*Please note: If the washr arrives and your bag is overstuffed, they reserve the right to reject your order, and you will incur a $4.99 cancellation fee.

What items can be sent in a hampr order?

If you would put it in your washer or dryer, it is likely that we can also handle it.

What Items will hampr not wash?

We cannot accept orders contaminated by the following:
- Soiled bedding or clothing
- Human or pet soil (urine, feces, blood, vomit, etc.)
- Bed bugs, lice, or any other insects
- Hazardous chemical residue
- Drug paraphernalia

What type of detergent does hampr use?

Our standard detergent that is included is a scent-free, dye-free detergent pod. Prefer to use your own detergent? No problem! You can include your own pod in a plastic bag, or note that you’ll be sending liquid detergent in its own bottle or a separate container. *NEW* add-on feature – Gain-scented detergent now available.

What if I prefer a specific scent or brand of detergent?

We understand that many members have a favorite detergent! You can include your own pods in a ziplock bag, or note that you’ll be sending liquid detergent in its own bottle or a separate container.
