Hampr entered its next chapter in 2026. Founder Laurel Hess handed the CEO seat to Brandon Brahms and welcomed Kris Triplett as CTO – a leadership model built for the company Hampr is becoming, not the one it started as. Together, the three of them form the core leadership team and the board of directors.
Brandon Brahms
Chief Executive Officer
Brandon joined Hampr as CEO in 2026 to lead the next phase of growth. His career is in product leadership for B2B SaaS – specifically the ops-heavy kind, where software has to hold up against real-world logistics, field operations, and service delivery.
That’s exactly the Hampr shape: an app on one end, a bag of laundry and a washr on the other. Brandon owns product, strategy, and day-to-day execution – the product-obsessed leader Hampr needed for its product-led next chapter.
Laurel Hess
Founder + President
Laurel founded Hampr in January 2020 after one chaotic Sunday convinced her that laundry should be as easy to outsource as groceries.
Before Hampr she ran a digital marketing agency in Lafayette, Louisiana, and spent years as marketing director for the group managing the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, Smoothie King Arena and Champions Square in New Orleans.
She’s a two-time founder and a mom of two, and remains deeply involved at Hampr as President and board member – focused on strategy, marketing, and the partnerships that carry the company forward.
Kris Triplett
Chief Technology Officer
Kris joined Hampr as CTO in 2026 to lead the technical vision for an AI-native, robotics-enabled laundry network – the ambition most engineers wait a career for.
He brings nearly two decades of engineering leadership, with senior roles at CrossFit and IdentityIQ and fractional CTO work guiding startups through the seed-to-scale transition. He’s an outspoken advocate for clean architecture, modern tooling, and teams that actually ship. At Hampr, he’s building the technical foundation that turns one of America’s most fragmented industries into one of its most advanced.
