Our Vision
Hampr is building America's first AI-native laundry network.
A national demand engine, intelligent operations at every node, and owned facilities pushing the edge of what’s possible.
The Insight that Started It
— Laurel Hess, Founder & President
Hampr started in my living room. A weekend of overwhelm, wondering why laundry couldn’t be as easy as grocery delivery… and the suspicion that millions of people would pay for someone else to handle their laundry if the experience were actually great.
Six years and a few million pounds of clothes later, I know the suspicion was right.
But the deeper insight came later. Laundry has been a promise hiding in plain sight – a promise to consumers that it could be painless, a promise to operators that it could be a good business, a promise to the industry that technology would eventually catch up. That promise has been breaking quietly for a long time. Until now, nobody had the pieces to fix it.
We do.
What Hampr is becoming
— Brandon Brahms, Chief Executive Officer
Hampr is the first AI-native laundry network – a national platform that connects consumer demand to laundry capacity at scale, and uses intelligence at every layer to make the experience better for everyone touching it.
The consumer sees a clean app, a trusted washr, and laundry that just gets done. What they don’t see is a platform coordinating loads across a network of facilities, routing dynamically, pricing intelligently, and compounding in capability with every cycle.
Over the next three years, we’re placing three bets.
Bet #1 — A national demand engine
The Hampr app is already the most trusted laundry service in every market we serve. Our bet is that consumer demand, aggregated at national scale, becomes the single most valuable primitive in this industry. No one else is building it.
Bet #2 — Intelligence at every node
AI powers how loads are routed, how capacity is priced, how quality is scored, how throughput is optimized. We’re not bolting AI onto laundry — we’re architecting the network around it from the first cycle.
Bet #3 — Owned facilities as our proving ground
Our owned facilities are where we test the hardest problems: robotics, throughput, unit economics, quality systems. What works there – and only what works – rolls across the broader network. We stay the R&D edge of the industry without the capital drag of owning every node.
Why Hampr Wins
A Demand Flywheel
Every consumer we serve strengthens the network: more data, more signal, more leverage.
Intelligence Compounding
Millions of loads across dozens of markets means our models sharpen every day. Nobody else has our data.
Hybrid Scale Architecture
Owned facilities where we set the bar for quality and innovation; network capacity where it lets us grow faster than any single-operator model could.
Brand Trust
Six years in, we’ve earned something rare in this category: a name customers actually trust with their clothes.
Why Now?
The technology is finally real. AI is no longer experimental. Robotics is practical at small scale. Logistics software is mature. Meanwhile, the laundry industry has barely changed in forty years.
That’s the opening. And we’re the only team with the consumer brand, the operational depth, and the technical foundation to take it.
Where we're going
Over the next three years, Hampr will expand to a national footprint, deepen the AI stack, prove robotics in our owned facilities, and become the most trusted laundry brand in America.
Laundry is inevitable. We make it easier.
